Since day 1 when we entered the office, we are greeted by our first name and made to feel so welcome. Mainly I have done ordering with Stephanie and she has helped us be educated shoppers. We have saved a great deal of money on roller shades and were able to carpet 3 rooms for what would have been the cost of doing one if we shopped elsewhere. In June or July of 2005, I had joined DirectBuy as a member but, unfortunately I was unable to continue due to financial difficulties. I informed your store of my plight and was told that they would refund my money. I had totally forgotten about this check. In October 2005, hurricane Wilma damaged the roofs of our homes and we had to evacuate per the health dept. The association took almost two years to rebuild our homes and I returned home in June of 2008. While going through my mail, I discovered the check from DirectBuy and I immediately contacted your store. I was told that someone would be contacting me regarding the check and I left several copies of the check as proof that it was not cashed. No one knew what to do about a three year old check. Then finally I was told to contact the owner.

Thank you for your corporation in this matter. I appreciate DirectBuy of Fort Lauderdale honoring this check and providing me the full refund 3 years later.

I could go on and on about how much we saved by working with DirectBuy and how much more we have received. Our experience has been great! We were building a new home and decided to check out DirectBuy to see if the savings would be worth the membership fee. Although we were wroking with a builder, through whom we received a builders discount at various places, and my husband could purchase many things at contractor costs through some of his clients, we discovered that we were able to save even more with DirectBuy. Not only could we purchase many things below the builder and contractor prices, we had access to many items they did not and/or which they did not receive discounts. Over the course of building our home we estimate that we saved close to $75,000. We purchased all our lighting fixtures, fans, plumbing fixtures, tile, door and cabinet hardware, carpet, paint, electronics, mirrors, appliances, window treatments, etc., through DirectBuy. For example, even after our 40% off of the light fixtures that we would have received through our builder we saved over another $3000 by purchasing them through DirectBuy instead of through our builder. DirectBuy has relationships with very high quality, name brand manufacturers and it allowed us to put much higher quality items into our home than we would have without DirectBuy and we did it for less money. In addition, the people are friendly and extremely helpful so it makes the whole process easy.
