Went shopping in Oakville to several locations for lighting. Upon finding a store that I felt comfortable with I requested a quote. I requested a quote knowing I had a DirectBuy membership because I was willing to pay a little more since I was given advice. But when I received the quote I was shocked at the total. This shock resulted in me going back to DirectBuy to do some research. It was at this time I realized that the prices were marked up a standard 100% across the board.

Knowledgeable, friendly, courteous and exceptionally helpful, would describe all the staff members with which we have had the opportunity to work. Everyone, from the receptionist to members services, to the product specialist and warehouse workers, always greet us with a "genuine" smile creating an extremely warm and comfortable shopping environment.

Of exceptional performance and indefatigable commitment, and that's a very difficult task considering your staff, I'd like to recognize Aaron Wiener. To match the expertise that he exhibits, one would have to visit numerous well known showrooms. I have come to value his extensive and vast level of product knowledge and constantly seek out his honest and informed recommendations. He is unquestionably a cut above!

I would only add that should someone be contemplating a membership with DirectBuy, I would advise them to think outside the box! Not only are we able to afford an upgrade on our purchases, we also have the ability to shop an entire mall, home improvement store, or retail furniture store all under one roof; and we have the ability to see what retailers are paying for the same items. We can purchase items for our home, birthdays (swing sets or golf clubs), weddings (fine china or flat ware) or for personal business. There is such a vast array of items available to members that I'm still finding new ones.

We joined early in 2009 with a bit of anxiety and high expectations. We are renovating our home in Somers Point, NJ (on a budget) and had high hopes for saving money while being able to purchase higher-end merchandise for our renovation. Our first order was through one of the earliest Club Exclusives DirectBuy offers it’s members and it was fantastic! We were looking for a particular 36” commercial-style gas range and there it was at DirectBuy – at a Club Exclusive price. Since then we’ve ordered furniture, lighting and bathroom fixtures. The customer service has been great and we’ve saved a few thousand dollars already. Membership has its privileges.
